    Microfibre Gloves (MJ's!)

I mentioned in a thread last week about me wearing MJ's..

Well, I picked this tip up from an American detailer over in Florida, who recommended wearing microfibre gloves when doing any kind of product removal buffing. Reason being, is the microfibre grips to the product and slips in your hand whilst trying to remove the residue.. then your cloth gets all knarled up and you can start causing damage with the microfibre.

I was a little skeptical if I'm honest, and I always tried to spread the weight of my hand as wide across the microfibre as possible to stop this slippage that I and others suffer from. It didn't really work, so I asked Phil at Shinearama if anyone stocks these gloves, and he kindly bought a load in so I bought a pair.

    Here they are in action.

I can honestly say they improve things by quite alot. Still not 100% perfect, but certainly a massive improvement, there's hardly any slip now. Well worth £5.

So for any of you doing stuff to your cars over the summer, I'd seriously consider buying a pair.

    Matt.
