You need help taking a wheel off??

There have been a dozen discussions on how to properly remove the aux belt pulley and the huge nut that holds it on as I know that's what you mean despite you notexplaining yourself very well.

Lock the flywheel/clutch with a solid tool, crack the nut off with a big extension bar, loosenthe aux belt tensioner, remove the pulley and the belt, then you can follow the timing guide.

Is it worth fitting a new water pump at the same time or does that not generally need changing on the GT?

They arnt usually an issue, and the pump is buried and would make a simple job a big job.
