Hmm, there's a few options really.
We could have the classifieds not viewable to none members, which would eaither alienate them or get them to pay for a full membership. With the way stuff is selling I think it might drive people away from the place.
I bet the classifieds is a main reason for visiting for most people?

exactly, this place don't pay for itself. So many use this place to buy sell and get advice yet refuse to put their hands in their pockets and cobntribute towards keeping the site open. I say fcuk all the non members off and have the whole forum only viewable by coughing up
It would stop new people signing up but most of The people who have signed up in the last 6-12 months are muppets anyway that the site could do without

Becoming a member means names and addresses are given to admin too, so that will also help cut down on fraud - will also stop people joining up just to try and sell stuff, meanong most people will become a part of the community. Will only help the club go forward IMHO.
