Just been hunting through a stack of old magazines and found a psc rolling road day feature at well lane turbo center from 2004. I recognise vibrio and scott but are there any others still knocking about on the forum ? Its a shame none of this type of thing happens on this forum anymore, everyone looks like they enjoyed it. I think something like this can be done again, obviously without the mag feature but i dont see why in a few months we cant have a sucessful RR shootout again?
I think the last 2 attempts have been purely bad timing.
I think give it a few months and more peeps would turn out for a decent RR shootout.
Im trying to think of a decent South East RR that would make for a decent turn out.
Dan Mawbey has tried to organise a RR day in the mid north east for the last few months and the only definates were Me and Wilky...

People need to stop looking to the past for inspiration and ideas though.
It was a mere reminiss dan, thought some users may enjoy it.
Im sure there are some proper scans of that feature floating around the internet some place, hopefully someone knows where or has them so we can see it properly.

What im saying should be taken more positively, by finding a new direction to go in, new stuff to do and fresh ways for people to meet, if thats what they want.
Club meets are a very niche side to car forums, especially busy ones its an even smaller factor.
I didnt mean a mag feature, and im all for taking the club forward with fresh ideas. All im saying is that was a good way of promoting the club back in the day and not enough meets and rr days happen any more. So lets start here then, i see your leeds nottingham way ? im not that far and know some forum users who are up for a club meet so lets make it happen ?
