Seems that evo had a 1.9 tdi lol
No starlets are easilly tuneable to 300bhp on standard engine the ones in jamaica run around 450 so I bin told by a friend who trades off ukstarletclub
My friends Glanza ran a smaller turbo than the factory ihi on the punto gt, and made 230bhp. Quarter mile of 12.9
hes also done a few hillclimbs....

I must admit they are awesome just way too overpriced for what they are I think
Fook me thats quick !!
got a few mates touching the 400bhp mark in there starlets. im going to hazard a guess and say that glanza is running a tdo5 which means its possibly around the 300bhp. got a mate who is running gt35 on starlet, now that thing is quick
its called the cork glanza and is pretty popular over here in ireland. Has smoked a long list of cars. Few people hoping to see it go up against my punto at some point on the boards forum but i cant see it happening.
that thing seems fast but its hard to tell on the video if the evo driver was giving it maximum beans as well.
on lift off the glanza makes a weird noise like its not in the best of health but i dont know much about these little cars. if the Evo driver was gunning it then i bet he went straight home and cut his own willy off after being spanked by a 1.3! poor chap-i bet there is nothing worse than paying out a million quid on a supposedly fast car only to be urined all over by a 15 year old shopping cart.
anyway, remember theyve got a good power to weight - i think these glanzas are about 800-900kg max. most of todays fast hatches are over 1250kg or 3 fat mates extra.
obviously in the damp/wet the evo with its 4 wheel drive would have the upper hand with the extra traction.
