    ok, sounds like trial and error with choosing manufacturers then. I will have a look for a circular polarizing filter and get one soon, as its something i would use alot.
    You will have to get some pictures off of him and compare it when i get some pictures of mine up, will be interesting to see any difference for the price, although i take it that his must have more features than mine.

    I managed to get a Uv filter from ebay for £2.50, cheap as chips, and if its rubbish then its only a few quid, But i do intend on getting some better quality bits and pieces when i have spare funds.

    I really want a wide angle lense, so if you come across any then please post me up a link if you can.

    Keep it cheap fow now mate, dont worry about expensive filters etc!!

    Got that filter in the post today Dan, seems alright, especially for £2.50.
    Not branded, its just got dHD Filter written on the case.

    Got a polarizing filter from ebay. 4 quid or something like that. Well worth the money, the difference is awesome.

    Cool stuff, i think im struggling for focus using a UV and polarizing filter at the same time.

    really? i took the above picture of the sky with both on.
    I suppose it depends on camera focus capability aswell
