repair yours mate you wont even have to take the alternator off the car then either.
And believe me, its not the easiest job to do in situ
its hard enuf tryin to get it off let alone tryin to repair in while its on the car

When you get the inlet manifold off, its 3 nuts to remove the heat shield, 4 nuts to get the back cover plate off, then 2 screws..... its easy peasy mate trust me
its the 13mm bolt on the left hand side on the inlet thts doin me. Can't get socket or spanner in. theres a support type arm in the way very left hand side. how many bolt hold alterntor on anyway?
