    The valuations of a GT

Looking around, Punto GT's arent going for that much these days.

How much would you say a Punto GT abarth kit fitted is worth.

Lets say mine for example, its clean example, engine is standard, 55000 miles on the clock from new..

5 years ago i bought this car, and paid 3k for it. Iv'e done 20,000 miles in that time an average of 4k a year.

Obviously i know its only worth what people will pay for it, but realistically what would you pay for it?

    Just your opinion guys...?

I'd say around £2.5k for a clean example with such low mileage. But people today want everything for nothing it seems

To be honest i'd think you would struggle to fetch any more than £2k for it, they just aren't worth what they used to be

    £2200 I would pay MAX.

Low milage doesnt mean trouble free with these baddys unfortunately.

If someone offered you £2k id break their arm off.

I'd pay 2k for that, depending on the spec.

There'll be a number of factors involved:

    1) how long you're prepared to hold out for the best price.
    2) how the mod.s etc. appeal to the prospective buyer.
    3) how badly the buyer wants this GT, and can afford it.

it is a nice one but i think the real appeal tends to be on standard looking GTs.
the bodykitted ones on here and on ebay (maybe pistonheads too?) never seem to fetch much more money than standard ones or even less as people might pay a premium for standard as inequitable as that may sound.

Yer I was thinking it would fetch around 2/2.5k. There's nothing wrong with the car. Though that dosent that isn't the same for all. Maybe I should put the standard bumpers back on??

There's really no spec to mention. Standard engine, koni's with lowering springs, abarth kit and tipo alloys.

you could put the old bumpers back on but the side skirts look a bare without the front and rear abarth appendages-thats only my view though.
as youve got the full kit i wouldnt mess with it-you will find a buyer who likes the abarth kit. if youre in no rush to sell then youve got the stronger hand and can hold out!
