Like a #%$# i have forgot to change my address on my V5. I have changed everything else but forgot about this!
As a result i have no reminder and it runs out at the end of the month. Anyone know if the post office will tax it with the wrong address on the V5?
Anyone had this problem? dont want to send of the V5 until i know for sure i cant tax it without a new V5 as they say it will take 4 weeks to get it back! ..................bugger

You'll be alright.
They will still give you a tax disc but they'll keep the main section of the log book and give you the a slip.
They'll send it off to the dvla and you'll get a spanking new log book (v5).
Ring them and see if you can get the vin number... long shot though

Local dvla office will give you a tax disc there and then, did the same thing yesterday
Dont do it online if logbook is wrong address cos thats where the dvla will send the tax disc
