what if you got the cheap one and rebuild the engine how you would like it? and then you will know for sure its ok

Unfortunately this is one of the reasons people just buy a GT in the first place. Conversions in many instances can be a PITA.

I knew this car looked very familiar, i went upto luton a while back well i think around this time last year.
It was up for 1500 ish. Had the cracked back bumper, not too bad easily replaced, the guy polished it every othere week apparantly.
The injector light was on and he didnt know why so i left buying it and it had about 40k on it. Still drove really well. I dont know why but i fancy treking up to have a look at it
