Great buy Ash, out of all the Civic's the EK9 is one of my fav's.
Its a great example of an EK9, my criteria was simple:
*Needed to look good when admiring it and not driving it
*Needed to handle well
*Cheap to maintain
*Reliable
*Mod'able but without costing a fortune
*Sound good, as Turbo cars sound great!! So needed to sound better!
As for power, 185bhp per ton, amazing handling, 14.2second 1/4 miles, 0-60 in 5.7!!, LSD so you can use all that power in a corner without spinning the inside tyre up and understeering wide. Really is worth watching the reviews online about these cars. Plus any problems and the engine will be changed for a B18C6 intergra type R engine

I don't need to come round. The EP3 still looks like a breadvan!

Lovely car, i think they look quality, love the Jordon ones too!
Jordans arnt a scratch on the EK9!
The Jordan was just a limited edition VTi EK4. The engine is just a B16A2, nothing fancy really. IIRC the EK9 is a B16B - different engine, then.
The Jordan is my favourite of all the Civics but that's only because it's yellow

I know someone who has one of these pretty well and he can only crack about 6.6 to 100kmh (62mph) using our Gtech R/R Pro - and when he does it is really right at the top of 2nd gear.
The sub 6 seconds time was performed using an N1 version of the EK9 or so he tells me (I am not too clued up on them), which was more stripped and was devoid of Recaros and red trim etc.
He's going back to something with a slightly bigger engine as he always rants on about the engine being "such a bi**h to get power out of".
Thats the only thing I found out when I test drove an NSX - the torque was gutless below 5Krpm - which I just couldn't live with on the many motorway miles I do.
