    Polish a turd

    I painted a set of rear 206 lights... Thought I'd show off my polishing skills.

    what did you polish it with mate? like a buffing wheel with compounds? or just general polish or something?

    I used an oil based polished which is still a prototype.
    It's made by a company called Consept... £35 for 1/2 a liter.
    I won't use anything which u can buy in a shop... As they are usually very poor compared to the top industrial products.

    The above were polished using the consept with an orange 3m foam pad on a 2k rpm polisher.

    fancy doing me a set of rear lights but a lighter than these lights. and a detail on a gunmetal grey GT

    I'm sure u could knock some lights up dan...

    I can indeed polish a gunmetal gt, I did matt chapmans a while back and it looked lovely. Obvieously I have a few conditions.

    ah mate i always end up with dark patches on the punto lights, plus they end up matte!

    conditions? i was thinking dollars and cents like...

    Yeah mine are almost matt, didn't do them myself though I must say!
