ANybody point me in the direction of some decent video editing software??
My camera seems to sample video in a funny horizontally squashed aspect, so want to sqush it vertically aswell as do basic triming of length etc.
Cheers

Ive always used windows movie maker, its very basic and user friendly.
adobe premier pro is the mainstream one, bit pricey unless you can get a hack of it somewhere.
also, have you tried adjusting your camera before you start recording so that it just records in the proper aspect ratio?
Yeah, but not much options on it tbh Rich! I'll have another crack at it, left my camera at home!
I have had Adobe before, seem to remember it didnt want to open the .MOD file up, SOB!!
Sony Vegas...Cant go wrong...
Adobe is good but sony vegas is just as good and has all the utilities required...there are many tutorials available and it is easy to use.
I have used many different editors, Obviously Adobe is good but sony vegas is good enough to make a professional looking video so should manage your tasks easily
