is it? that poor village was probably a thriving little community back when mining and the associated railway industries were big in them parts, but now........the place is dead isnt it? youve got that ruddy great call centre and Sports.Com up on one of the old slag heaps to the south thats since been turfed over and what was a sizeable railway depot has been mothballed!
i'm just working up there for another week at a new dentists and happen to spot the P reg between fag breaks last week......
Yes Shirebrook was a thriving community back in its day, although its kinda going through a renervation period with the likes of sportsdirect setting up their main distribution centre there and other recent ventures. Although it is still regarded as a **** 'Ole !!
