    laptop cooling

    does anyone know if there's a way of overriding the fan speed control on a laptop?

    On some older computers there was the option to adjust the RPM in the BIOS, however unsure if they have stopped putting that feature in to discourage overclocking

    you could always get a cooling tray (if the laptop keeps overheating) there about £20 and are really good

    as said, it will be in the bio's to change it.

    I've tried laptop coolers but i my laptop needs air blown in to it and the one i tried sucked it out

    When your using it how are you using it?
    On your lap? sofa? or a desk? because if its on your lap or sofa its probably just overheating with lack of ventilation

    its on a desk which is next to the radiator so I'm guessing its sucking in already hot air, the processors run at around 55c and the gpu never drops below 65c unless i turn the screen off
