just writing on here to say hi everyone!! and introduce myself, iv just joined been looking on here for a while though, i have a punto 55sx 5door exploit yellow and im in the middle of having it converted to a gt...well its nearly done. im 19 called rachel and live in wiltshire...so thats me and the site is lush, really useful cant wait to look round some more!!

started my conversion at start of april theres been a lot of obsticles in the way to cut a long story short, a man said he done it before easy etc... 2 months later hed put the engine in and changed the driveshafts after id been on at him cuz he kept leaving my car and doing other peoples! so took it back to mine my boyfriend (lewis) did the pipes and exhaust and couple of other things. took it out and it wouldnt boost or go higher than 4revs, on way back heard a banging checked it, got it home safely and the man hadnt done up the drive shaft bolt and it had put a hole in the sump, so got it welded took it to a tuning garage they said ecu was in limp mode bought a remappable ecu tried to map it and the man hadnt put the heatshield on so it burnt a bit!! now its home again lewis is heat proofing everything and iv ordered new green hoses hoping it will be on the road within a month and before anyone says anything i have learnt my lesson should of taken it to a pro in the first place i dont no if this will work never done it b4 but theres some pics of when i first got it and some changes and abit of the conversion and stuff thanks

its a gt1 engine 92000 miles just had the head done cam belt and water pump the tuning garage gave it a compression test and it was 12 aparently its menna be 11 so he said its a strong engine, bit of good news been lowered 60mm all round 15" wheels of a alfa, gt back seats piper cross air filter morettes and a horrible exhaust that sounds like a tracktor wana get a new 1 keeping the exterior pritty much standard looking thats all i can think of atm about the car
