Just to put it in perspective...and I don't mean to sound nasty...but my old MG ZR was 105bhp standard from a 1.4 16v...If your polo needed mods to get to barely over that then the engine isn't exactly special...especially for german build!

Oh...and it should be quicker than a sporting...it DOES have a greater displacement then the punto.

dont know 0-62 and im not gonna guess.

but, there was nothing wrong wit my sporting at all.

this is just quicker.

dont forget.. the sprtings are 86bhp NEW,

most will be 8 years old plus. thrashed all there lives.

and highly tuneed engine from factory.

mines just under 110bhp NOW,

and can be tuned?

you talk a load of bollocks. of course its gonna be faster than a sporting.

btw you got it wrong about the sporting engine, theres plenty tuning bits for them, and you can get 100bhp/litre out em n/a with plenty bolt-ons and a flowed head.

But Im sticking by what im saying.

I had one of these to have a change from a Punto, but found my self back in a GT after a couple of months.

Loved it to bits tho Cant really remember how fast it was with 100bhp but went very well.
