Thanks folks, yeh its standard at the moment, not sure if i want to do anything to it yet.

It has 70k on the clock, so not sure if i want to tune it up and risk reliability

70k is not bad for the year, I bought my S reg sporting at around 88k.

Plenty of life left in the engine, benefits to keeping it standard (i.e. lower insurance, cheaper parts), but perhaps a couple of modifications would be beneficial?

Dont quote me on this as fact, but i have read a load of times on here that puting a seb2 chip in your punto gt along with a few other mods , will prolong your engine life,
someone might shed some light on this ...........
