    You can reuse them.

    Oh right, was under the impression thay stretched like others. Tis only pennies for a new set anyway, you'd be dumb not to renew the bolts if the head was coming off.

    £11.50 for a full set of head bolts from a local motor factors from me..... do have a trade account though and beats payin nearly £30 on ebay for a set

    but yes have re-used them before and have snapped them in the past before and was a rite bummer to get head back off wiv half a bolt sticking up

    You're right you'd never reuse a set of head bolts.

    You measure them and then reuse if there not stretched

    Why not? If they haven't stretched they'll be fine.

    Just increases the chance of the heads rounding or the bolts snapping doesn't it.
