Using the classifieds

To all on Puntosports, advice when using the classifieds...

Always use the forum, specifically the specific thread for the agreement of a price and postage or an inclusive total including any transfer fees to be incured. This will go some way to providing proof should a despute arise. Admin and mods cannot check PM's or personal use/storage within the website.

Always use Paypal or similar secure and guaranteed money transfer service, and always send the payment as a payment for goods, this insures that should a dispute arise you can raise a claim against the recipient. There is little point saving a few pence only to loose your money.

Always send the item via a signed for or secure/insured service. This protects both seller and buyer should a dispute arise or damage is occured uring transit, protect yourself and pay proper money for a proper service!

Do not send money on face value or give anyone the benefit of the doubt, this seems to be a common occurance in the recent past, don't fall for any sob stories!

Do not advertise your items if you're unwilling to meet a deadline or there is a chance the buyer may get messed about. This is all to common and you may find your access to the classifieds section removed should a dispute against you arise.

Do not buy or sell with Banned Traders. They're banned from trading for a reason!
