Group Buy - Mk1 Doors

Ok heres the 2nd Group buy for a few years, but lets see what interest we can get...

Punto mk1 doors
These will fit using original hinges and catch.

these will be a Race / Sprint Style door, so wont accept the original glass or the interior door trim panel.

They will be smooth on the inside with a carbon inspection panel like these Toyota & BMW CSL Doors -

I need 10 people to warrent making the plug and moulds, but all 10 dont have to have fibreglass, and all 10 dont have to have carbon, they can be a mix!

Once we have 10 names, I will require a 20% deposit, once i have all 10 deposits we will start the work, turnaround, depending on how our racing is going, will be around 4 weeks, then on a 1st ordered - 1st delivered supply with each tailgate being sent 2 days after the previous.

the weight will be approx 6 - 8 kilo, there wont be much difference on any of the options.

YOU WILL REQUIRE A ROLL CAGE FOR SIDE IMPACT PROTECTION

Correct, but I am not selling doors that could be put onto a standard punto without the warning!!

and to be fair, its only going to be serious weight saving guys that will really want these, and that in theory should mean they have the budget to fit the cage!!!

prob wont fit like the type k wings.... needed loads of sanding filling and still not there with the gaps.. but good idea tho tony .. tony did anything happen with the carbon roof panel??

they can be done, but will require runner assemblies and detailed internals that would increase the prices dramatically, and that will make them out of reach for most people...

yeh the gap between the door and wing ..well there was bout half inch but was wavey and the wing sat higher then the bonnet

could u still do the carbon roof panel still??

If you read the thread you would see there arnt enough people interested to make it viable to justify for Tony to do.

I'm in no rush. I'm sure he could back to me himself
