Phone locks / security codes

Ive sold my old 7250 on ebay and whilst deleting the phone book I realised I didnt know what the security code is!

Ive got the guys money already!

I tried my old pin number and 1234 but both failed. Im sure there is only 3 attempts to enter these codes before it locks the phone so before I try 0000 or 4444 I thought Id check to see if there is anyway of resetting or unlocking it if i codge it up.

The phone is an old contract phone being sold sim-less - contract was cancelled months ago.

Nokia is usually 12345

You can enter as many trys as you like with the security pin, its only an unlock code that blocks the handset.

You can get it reflashed for around a tenner at a market, but if its on ebay he probably wont even notice.
