Thank you for your input but it is having a new engine.
The list of ongoing problems you have mentioned was on the 'old' GT engine.
I fail to see how from it sitting a year it will be an epic fail at MOT time, but we will see.

dont break it cat. its a lovely car. also i paid 600 notes for the cab i origionally started with. so i would say that it is well worth that if not more if you were to sell the car as is. to be honest a bottom end wouldnt be so damaging to loose the car. i do hope you repair it.
it is having new engine dropped in in next couple of weeks fella :-), new hood, floor pan treated and under sealed then off we go.....
good - wheres the new hood from?
A lad i know.
New hood? This really will be spruce and a very unique car on the road again8-)
When's Tim dropping the lump in?
I CANT BELIEVE THE CAR WAS GNG FOR £500 No matter what the problem was with it ! And no1 Jumped on it !
You've not been following this, obviously. Sale withdrawn and secondhand engine going in. :) Bottom end went on old GT engine (another story).
