Our Terms and Conditions

In order for the Forum to be an effective community the Administrators expect that these guidelines are followed:-

- Before posting a new topic in any of the forums, the Forum search function is used to check the topic hasn’t already been covered.
- Topics are posted in the appropriate forum.

- We are proud of our club and forum. If you have an issue with it, that is one thing, but please don’t bring the general mood of the forum down with that bad attitude. You are always free to leave, contrary to popular belief you don’t have to be a part of the community!

In addition to these guidelines there are also rules about the content of posts:-

- Freedom of Speech.

The Puntosports Club is a firm believer in the right to free speech. However, there is a thin line between freedom of speech and “stepping on someone else’s toes”. The decision is a hard one, but will ultimately be made by Moderators and Administrators. The Club will not tolerate anything that is defamatory or libelous and that will potentially put The Club at risk of legal action. If you are deemed to be doing so, The Club reserves the right to ban you with immediate effect.

- General Content.

Including, (but not an exhaustive list); no post should contain vulgar, abusive, racist, sexist, harassing language, persistent swearing.

- “Text Speak”.

This is a website and forum, not a mobile phone! Please ensure that your post is at least understandable for the average user. By this, it is meant that there is no “text speak” as such. We are not expecting users to be Oxford dictionaries, but in the interests of the diverse forum user-group it is felt this must be enforced.

- Daily Chat

This area is for talking about things which don’t come under any This is for everyday life things. No adult content is allowed. This means, no nudity is to be posted on the forum. If porn is what you’re after you can find it easily enough in the relevant places. General topics that are of no relevance to more than a small handful of users will be moderated accordingly. Daily Chat will not be allowed to become another medium of MSN Messenger. Overall Puntosports is a forum for car enthusiasts first, please bear this in mind.

- Personal Vendettas.

This should go without saying, but Moderators and Administrators will not tolerate any form of personal insult. If they deem a post or posts to be such, they will take appropriate action.

- Baiting.

Baiting, from Dictionary.com is defined as follows: To attack or torment, especially with persistent insults, criticism, or ridicule. Posters who consistently reply to posts of another Forum member with criticism MAY be judged to be baiting. This also includes trying to get a reaction from other members "trying to wind people up". This is not allowed on here and will be dealt with accordingly.

- Moderation.

Whilst Moderators and Administrators aim to do what they deem is right, there are some instances where they make mistakes, after all, they are only human! Please accept this and understand that we are human and should you have any issue you deem important, provided you treat the Moderators and Administrators with due respect, they will help you out to the best of their ability. A full list of Moderators and Admin is available on request from webmaster@puntosports.co.uk . At the end of the day, their decision will be final.

- Trade Advertising.

Anyone advertising trade products on this forum without the prior consent of an Administrator will be warned only once. If this occurs more than once, The Club will invoice you at the appropriate advertiser’s rate as you have gained an illegal benefit from the forum that is specifically outlined in the terms and conditions you have signed.

Overall

If any of these rules are broken the moderators and administrators of the Forum will delete offending posts without notice. Persistent offenders may be banned from using the Forum or even deleted.

Note to Puntosports Club members - although membership allows you access to the Club sections, it does not guarantee you constant access - the above rules still apply and by breaking them you can still have your forum account banned or even deleted. This does not affect your membership of the Club itself which has separate rules of conduct.

The owners of The Punto Sports Club Forum, Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Please feel free to use, enjoy and become part of our community having accepted our terms and conditions.
