check your alternator belt, it runs the power steering pump, make sure it's not slipping or seized or snapped. Mines snapped going round a roundabout and i had to jump on the side of the steering wheel to get the car round and limp home.
if it is, only about £8 for belt and half an hour to do.
hope this helps.

Aha something no rigtht there then. too much of a coincidence i think.
Get it checked out make sure all auxilliary belts are tight. ie belt that connects power steering pump to alternator belt. might just need to bleed the system.
turn your egnition on turn full lock on left then full lock right then full lock left and then right. three or four times should do. will hopefully bleed the system.

Try it without car running first then try it with cant go wrong that way. no dont think you have have to open any valves or filler cap. might be talking pish though.
hope you get it fixed.

i tryed 2 bleed the system like garryboy said but it hasent helped thanks anyway. does any1 know any other way that u can bleed the system. it makes a dull noise when u turn it left - right it never made the noise before.
does any1 know how much a new power steering pump 4 a 1.2 16v sporting 98 is?
