Heater knob surround

A few of you are already interested.
For those that don't know, these are the speed settings/temp controls around your actual heater knobs. Currently they light up green, which doesn't look nice, with all the latest dials.
I've managed to get my old ones off, which requires a lot of plastic melting, I've taken them to a place, should know about prices tommorrow.
ANyway, put your name down for the numbers, as well as which colour backing you'd prefer. These are for all MK1's:

I just wanna get them done so they are backlit in red for my car. But I could get other colours, PuntoBoyGT wants yellow, and a couple of others have shown interest.

I don't have pics of them, cos I'm negotiating a deal tommorrow. Just need a few names who may be interested.

Not that easy!
You have to use a soldering iron to "melt" of parts of the backing on the panel.
Its pretty time consuming, if you dont wanna fcuk anything up.
But worth it.

I really want these in red, as I've got a black and red theme going on in my GT.
Abarth red gearknob, abarth steering wheel, red seatbelts, red switches.
So if I get them done just for myself, I don't mind. I know some other peopel are interested, but maybe I should get just mine done, and post some pics up.

where did you get these from and how much? are they original?

Finally gonna be in production.
The guy was sposed to phone me back on at least 4 separate occasions but never did.
So as its been nearly two months, I went back to get them, to get done elesewhere, and he said he's been in hospital.

Prices wont be more than 17 quid each, probably cheaper. Thats with a clear backing, so any colour led's will shine through. Fitting will be much easier than the indiglo's, cos there's no messing with wires.

I'm on hols till next week, but he said production will take two days.

How do u change them ones behind the fog and demister switches? They look like hard work !

you mean the led's? you have to take the switch panel out and solder new ones.

Guys, It comes with a clear backing, so don't put colours down.
Its up to you to get the coloured LED's you want.

This is unaffected, I'm not selling the whole plastic surround, just the inserts that light up.


GT_Ripper, shouldn't be a prob mate.
