had one in Jersey, actually very nice. slow as ****, but comfortable and quite nice.

Depends what model. They have got slower and slower.

Think 2001 they must have still done the 1.25 16v 1.4 16v 1.6 16v zetec-S models. IIRC the 1.4 is the pick of the bunch for performance although the 1.6 might pip it at top end its weight is a factor.

1.6 Zetec looks nicest IMO. Multispoke alloys, two tone leather steering wheel and two tone seats...

its only a courtesy car so i imagine it will be the bottom of the range shed
