New Forum Sections Created!
Here at PSC we have decided to expand our forums to be able to keep up to date with the Punto scene and because of this we have added two new sections.
We have added two new sections covering the mk2/b and Grande Punto models. We have also changed the mk1 forum to match. These forum sections will hopefully grow to a level that our current forum is, and so will be able to help all that are interested.
Feel free to sign up to the forum and start posting in the section that is relevant to your car!

Meeting: Auto Italia, Brooklands
"It's 5:30am...on a Saturday
morning. I've just left the house
and pulled onto the road on the first
stage of my journey to Auto Italia
at Brooklands. |
Heading
towards Huntingdon and the A1 for
my voyage south to the M25 I suddenly
realise that I should of filled up
the fuel tank the night before
to
avoid paying the prices charged on
the A1, but hey, nobodies perfect
;-)
Cruising along the A1 was relatively
boring
punctuated only by warnings
from the camera detector mounted on
my dash. Indiglo dials telling me
that I was going a tad to fast for
the camera's liking...so I dropped
the pace a little and headed for the
nearest petrol station to make up
for last night's laziness.
As the Hatfield Tunnel approached
I started to meet traffic
working
my way through it and hitting the
mute on the stereo to allow the car
to be filled by the roar of exhaust
through the tunnel..."

Fiat Grande Punto: First Look
Italian car maker Fiat unveiled its
all-new Grande Punto at the 2005 IAA,
otherwise known as the Frankfurt Motor
show. |
|
Following
in the wheeltracks of the original
hugely successful Punto hatchback,
which has accounted for over six
million sales since its launch in
1993, the newer and much larger
Grande Punto's objective is to regain
leadership of the highly competitive
and crucially important European
compact hatchback market.
In
order to accomplish this aim, Grande
Punto has been designed from the
outset to be a larger vehicle than
is typical for the class, so as
to offer the highest possible safety
standards, class leading quality
credentials, and the best range
of diesel engines available in this
category today, all at a very competitive
price...

New
Punto brings hope for Fiat
The
unveiling of Fiat's new Punto, amidst much
cheering and backslapping, is the strongest
indication yet that the troubled Italian
carmaker is leaving its problems behind.
"This
is just the beginning of our new product
range..."
Fiat Auto's brand manager Luca de Meo tells
BBC News;
"We have made many sacrifices in
order to have a lean organization... and
to be able to respond to the needs of the
market. From now on, we'll be a new
Fiat. A Fiat of more emotion, capable of
winning." Fiat Auto plans to launch
20 new cars, starting with the new Punto
and continuing until 2008...
